The sectnoi and stmtnoi simply take care of the situation where stmt #s are too big for a smallint (32767). I assume they would always be populated by a BIND. Just like CARD v/s CARDF in V5 runstats. I will try it.

My question dealt with the queryno (assigned by user) v/s the physical statement no. Here is the response from IBM - what this means is that if we manually assign a queryno, any attempt to obtain the associated text wll fail.
