Did the calling batch program really abended when it received SQLCODE -927 from the stored procedure? I created a cobol stored procedure that will return SQLCODE -927 to the calling program by compiling it with DYNAM option. My batch calling program received the -927 value from the SQLCODE of the stored procedure in one of the stored procedure parameter, but the calling batch program didn't abend and continued normally. Sounds like you'll have an opportunity to save your company a lot of money.
Often a bit of tuning can save millions per year in processing costs, and productivity improvements.
When looking at buffer pool usage remember to focus on the IO rate/second, not the useless hit ratio. While the canned reports are a starting point, they generally leave a lot to be desired, and you should do some tailoring of your own. [...]

I sent mine yesterday but it never made it to the list. This should be all you need. My only other difference was I had HOST(IBMCOB).

Looks like it has to do with "timestamp" column and not a date column.
Please check if the target is char(26). (or PIC X(26) in COBOL).

Would you be so kind to cut-paste the query and its output?

We are considering the use of QUERYNO within all our COBOL applications.
With the goal of creating a process to analyze Plan_table entries to determine when access paths have changed. Hopefully - avoiding the need to review all SQL changes.
Are other companies using this approach? If not, how do you determine which SQL to review and if you do review specific SQL, how do you keep track of what's been reviewed and what has not? Does anyone have any issues or concerns with the use of QUERYNO? Does anyone have any REXX/SQL code they might be willing to share [...]

This means that we flush the in-storage RTS tables in order to get them externalized, then we update the UPDATESTATSTIME and we set the STATS-counters to zero. [...]

That way those of us working in shops without PL/I could still use DSNTIAD for DDL and QMF for SQL since we couldn't run DSNTEP2.

For that matter, have you performed EXPLAIN on the SQL between DSNTIAUL and DSNTEP2. Another thing to check is - do you have PK05360/UK19531 (from 2006)? This opened up HYBRID join for multi-row fetch situations. [...]
